I just love fresh starts! It's like early in the morning, and like being still 16! I'm so obsessed with starts that I can't move out of the beginning of anything. Well it's time to change!

Let me start drafting a plan to make this seemingly impossible task come true.

The core of the game is player interaction with other objects and their reactions.

So I'll see to it to work from a gameplay perspective.
From baby steps to running.

So I'll make the login-register system, then the player movement in the world, interaction, etc.
I'll try to post as much as possible to document my progress.

CHILDREN OF STEEL is an online full scale space simulation game.
The purpose of the game is to ensure human survival throughout the galaxy.

Storyline:

A major cataclysm has forced a few humans to escape from Earth. These few humans worked as hard as they could to ensure that if a suitable planet was found, humans could be artificially created at first, and these would colonize the planet. This task was left to robots controlled by a group of androids. After a few centuries had passed, none of the survivors was alive and no planet was found. Eventually the androids fell for lack of materials to keep the organic parts alive. 
An artificial intelligence computer was left to calculate, test and simulate ways to manipulate human genes, in case a specific adaptations to alien atmosphere was required. The same entity was left to do other research on FTL displacement, colonization tech, farming, etc. 
5000 years had passed and the colony ships managed to get to a stellar system with 3 habitable planets. The rebirth of the human race could begin.
